General information


Ludwigsburg University of Education (LUE) places great importance on the protection of personal data. When you visit our websites, personal data is collected and processed in according with current data protection regulations formulated in the General Data Protection Regulation of the EU (EU-GDPR) and the Data Protection Act of the State of Baden-Württemberg (LDSG). The aforementioned regulations apply to personal data. Personal data means individual details about personal or material circumstances relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. In the case of contact via letter mail, e-mail or an online contact form, personal data are, for example, the name, address or e-mail address of a person. This Data Protection Declaration provides you with detailed information on the type, scope and purpose of personal data processing while using our website. 2. Your rights as a data subject

To ensure that data subjects can obtain information about the extent of the processing of their personal data at any time, the EU-GDPR provides for further rights in addition to the right of access, in particular the obligation to provide transparent information when collecting data, the right to rectification of false information and the right to erasure as well as the right to object.

Under the EU-GDPR, in certain circumstances, you have the right of access to your personal data stored by us as well as the right to have false personal data rectified, blocked or erased. If you would like to have data rectified or deleted or if you have questions on the use of data, do not hesitate to contact the website operator named in the "Controller" section above.

3. Collection and processing of data in connection with access via the internet

When you visit our websites, personal data are available to the system after login. A record is made each time our website or a file from our website is accessed. These data are not made public on our website but may be processed by other applications. Data are stored for internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following data are logged: name of the file accessed, date and time of the access, data volume transferred, information whether access was successful, browser version of the accessing host system, operating system version of the accessing host system. These data are processed in order make our websites accessible (connection setup) as well as for purposes of system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure and the optimisation of our websites. Additionally, the IP addresses of the requesting processors are logged.

4. Collection and processing of data via online contact

Further personal data are only collected if they were given voluntarily, for example by sending an e-mail via an online contact form. Data are no longer retained once the visitor logs out or the browser is closed. Personal data are only processed beyond the aforementioned cases if you explicitly consent to further processing. Given consent may be withdrawn at any time for future data processing.

Data transferred via an online contact form or via e-mail is protected by technical and organisational measures in according with the provisions of the EU-GDPR. By using the online contact form or sending an e-mail, you agree that your personal data may be stored, processed and used for a specific purpose. We only use your data in order to answer your request and for technical administration purposes. You have the right of access to your personal data stored by us in according with Article 15 EU-GDPR as well as the right to have these personal data rectified, erased or restricted from processing at any time in according with Articles 16, 17 and 18 EU-GDPR. As determined by law, you can request information on your personal data stored by us free of charge, at any time and without having to state any reasons. Given consent to the collection and processing of data may be withdrawn at any time and without having to state any reasons.

5. Consent to further uses of data

Certain services on our websites, for example, subscribing to a newsletter, can only be used if personal data is collected and processed beyond the aforementioned cases, for example, e-mail addresses or addresses may be stored long-term. By stating and transmitting the requested data, you consent to the processing of the data. Given consent may be withdrawn at any time for future data processing. In this case, please contact the website operator named in section "Controller" above.

6. Use and transfer of personal data for others

We process personal data in linked, other systems. Certain websites can only be used if personal data are given. If this is the case, you are directly informed on how, to what extent and to what end data are processed. We only transfer personal data to federal bodies and authorities if we are required to do so by national legal provisions or if it is necessary for legal proceedings or criminal prosecution in case of an attack on our network infrastructure. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube video, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of the pages you have visited. The FunThink project maintains an online presences in social networks and platforms in order to be able to communicate with interested persons active there via this channel as well and to inform them about our content. When you log in to a social media platform, the terms and conditions and data processing guidelines of the respective operators apply. Unless otherwise stated within the scope of this privacy policy, users' data are processed when they communicate within the social networks and platforms, e.g. when you send a message. It should be noted that these online presences are merely further ways of obtaining information about the LUE. Editorial responsibility lies with the person who is named accordingly on a particular social media channel.

Login - Terms of use


By signing up for the login section, each user has to agree to the following terms of use:

- The provided material may only be used for educational purposes and personal use.
- Only people affiliated to mathematics education or fields related to mathematics education are allowed to sign up for an account.
- The login data is for personal use only. Other interested people are encouraged to sign up for their own account.
- The provided personal data (name, email address, institution) is saved locally and not forwarded to any person outside the project team. If requested, all information and the corresponding account will be deleted.
- The provided videos are only available for streaming. Any form of download or recording is not allowed due to data protection requirements.
- All comments posted in the forum have to apply to the laws of each partner country. Unappropriated comments will be deleted and if necessary, further steps will be executed.
- When using the forum, an individual name can be chosen that has not to coincide with the login name. The email address indicated when contributing forum posts is only visible to the admin.
